FORT WORTH, Texas (November 4, 2009) – The Hondo Group, a Fort Worth-based marketing communications company, announced today the introduction of green marketing services. Shana Barkley, account supervisor and digital marketing strategist for The Hondo Group, will oversee the green marketing initiatives while Shena Turlington, an environmental consultant, will begin implementing new eco-friendly business sustainability practices. The Hondo Group’s research-driven sustainable business plan turns environmental consciousness into a formidable strategic move. Turlington specializes in environmental design and sustainable business models, working with natural materials, renewable energy technologies and ecological design principles to improve interaction with the environment. She has served Fortune 500 Companies including Biotech firms and pharmaceutical companies such as Genentech, Pfizer and Amgen. She has also advised corporate greening strategies for clients including Audi and Volkswagen. Turlington currently manages the greening operations for large-scale events and focuses on creating new models for sustainable communities nationwide.
